Eddie Plantilla, PT

Experience:

Eddie brings over ten years’ experience to TLPT with a strong focus in sports medicine, work-related injuries and occupational health.

Specialties:

Eddie is our resident expert in the areas of ergonomics and industrial rehabilitation. He always conceptualized the injured worker as an “industrial athlete.” His goal is to help workers in a wide variety of settings to return to their best work capacity, and to be stronger and better able to manage their responsibilities.

A lifelong skier and cyclist, Eddie also excels at helping patients maximize their athletic performance and minimize their risk of injury whether on the slopes, trails and roads. He was also a professional bicycle mechanic, and takes a particular interest in helping passionate cyclists of all abilities achieve a true integration of rider and machine.

Education and Credentials:

After graduating from Colby College with a B.A. in Biology, he went on to the University of Vermont to earn his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Eddie is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Hobbies:

Eddie is a proud native of New York City, but decided that it would be best for him and his family to adjust and adapt to the slower and friendlier Vermont lifestyle. He is now is a proud resident of Burlington, living in the New North End. He enjoys exploring Vermont with his partner, Ellen, and their daughters Audrey and Bodhi.
